Rhodesian Ridgeback Rescue – Give a Dog a Second Chance

About Our Rescue Program

Our mission at Rhodesian Ridgeback Rescue is to give these noble and loyal dogs a second chance at a loving home. We are dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming Rhodesian Ridgebacks that have been abandoned, neglected, or surrendered by their owners. Our program ensures that each dog receives the care and attention they need to thrive, including medical treatment, behavioral training, and a nurturing environment.

Our dedicated team of volunteers works tirelessly to provide the best possible care for every dog that comes through our doors. We believe that every dog deserves a chance to live a happy, healthy life, and we strive to match each dog with the perfect forever home.

Available Rescue Dogs

At Rhodesian Ridgeback Rescue, we have a variety of dogs looking for their forever homes. From puppies to seniors, each dog has its unique story and personality. Our current list of available rescue dogs includes:

  1. Buddy – A playful two-year-old male with a lot of energy and love to give.
  2. Molly – A gentle five-year-old female who loves to cuddle and is great with children.
  3. Max – A seven-year-old male who enjoys quiet walks and is very well-behaved.
  4. Bella – A three-year-old female with a sweet temperament and good manners.

Every dog available for adoption has been thoroughly vetted and is ready to join a loving family. We encourage potential adopters to visit our rescue center to meet these wonderful dogs and see which one is the perfect fit for their home.

How to Adopt or Support

Success Stories

Adopting a Rhodesian Ridgeback from our rescue program is a rewarding experience. Many of our dogs have gone on to live happy, fulfilling lives with their new families. Take, for example, Duke, a senior Ridgeback who was rescued from a neglectful situation. With the love and care provided by his new family, Duke has transformed into a joyful and affectionate companion.

Volunteer Opportunities

If you are not in a position to adopt, there are many other ways you can support our rescue efforts. Volunteering is a great way to make a difference in the lives of these dogs. Our volunteers help with a variety of tasks, including dog walking, feeding, grooming, and administrative work. We also welcome those who can provide foster homes for our dogs, offering them a temporary place to stay until they find their forever homes.
